Toronto, Canada
Universal Music Canada will release the new single "Vertigo" by Irish superstars U2, exclusively and securely to radio over the Internet via Musicrypt's DMDS (Digital Media Distribution System) on Friday, September 24. The new U2 album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" is scheduled for release November 23, 2004.
SHANIA TWAIN'S new single was delivered on Friday, September 3 via DMDS and "Party for Two" became the "Most Added" record by radio stations in Canada the following week (according to Canadian Music Network). This illustrates another benefit of DMDS in that all stations receive new music at the same time allowing for instant reaction from radio. The superstar's first greatest hits album, "Shania Twain's Greatest Hits" will be released on November 9, 2004.
