Biometrics: AdmitOne Security
DMDS incorporates a biometric technology called AdmitOne Security to improve access security and prevent password sharing. AdmitOne Security uses patented keystroke dynamics technology originally designed and developed at the Stanford Research Institute. AdmitOne Security gives the user ID and password system an added layer of user authentication security with a unique keystroke dynamics biometric profile. It does this by creating an individual profile for each user based upon their highly individual typing rhythms. AdmitOne Security is unique because it is "software only," thus eliminating the need for additional hardware.

Biometric Rights Management
Biometric Rights Management (BRM) is the basis for YANGAROO's unique approach to providing a secure, yet user-friendly solution for digital media delivery. Basically, BRM is the combination of biometrics with what is commonly referred to as Digital Rights Management (DRM). This combination enables DMDS to verify and manage the media access rights granted to individual users by content providers.
Encryption
The transmission between your computer and the DMDS Server is done over an encrypted secure socket layer (SSL) connection (basically a security protocol that ensures privacy over the Internet). All of the data bits that travel back and forth between your computer and the DMDS Servers have the same heightened level of world class encryption and security as the data used by banks for online banking.
Watermarking
DMDS is the only digital media distribution solution to employ a Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) copyright protection system and International Standards Organization (ISO) certified watermarking technology. The watermark has been independently proven to persist through multiple digital and analog conversions and can be applied on a transactional basis. Combined with the biometrics employed by DMDS, the watermark provides a strong link to the individual (not the machine) that downloaded a track. This combination provides the most advanced system of personal accountability available to record labels and radio today.
